How to Get There

The city of Darmstadt is very close to Frankfurt Airport and can be reached by taking the AirLiner direct bus. After arriving in Darmstadt you can use public transportation to get to the Jagdschloss:

  • Bus Line H: Get off at Kranichstein “Kesselhutweg”. It’s approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk along Kranichsteiner Straße (cycle path).
  • Bus Line F/FU: Get off at “Oberwaldhaus”. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk through the forest.
  • Tram 5: to Kranichstein “Siemensstraße”; approx. 15 to 20 minutes on foot along Kranichsteiner Straße (cycle path).

 

Alternatively, you can use these means to go directly to the location:

  • Regional railway: to Kranichstein railway station and then approx. 20 to 25 minutes on foot along Parkstraße and along Kranichsteiner Straße (cycle path).
  • Car: A5 – Exit Weiterstadt, take the B 42 towards Darmstadt, then towards Rödermark, later follow the signs to Kranichstein.
